Generalmente ese l\u00edquido est\u00e1 rodeado y delimitado de una pared fibrosa revestida de c\u00e9lulas epiteliales. La patolog\u00eda qu\u00edstica es muy variable en cuanto a caracter\u00edsticas de los quiste y por su origen. Pueden ser <strong>odontog\u00e9nicos<\/strong>, formados a partir de lesiones en los dientes, y <strong>no odontog\u00e9nicos<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0Los m\u00e1s frecuentes son los primeros y producidos, generalmente, <strong>resultado de una inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica<\/strong> en los tejidos periodontales. Se produce despu\u00e9s un crecimiento celular reactivo. Ese crecimiento celular desencadena ac\u00famulo progresivo de l\u00edquido en su interior. Ese l\u00edquido interior queda definitivamente rodeado de una capa de tejido duro con revestimiento de c\u00e9lulas epiteliales en su cara interior. Su trascendencia es su posible complicaci\u00f3n y que, adem\u00e1s, su crecimiento es continuo. Este crecimiento, a expensas de ir reabsorbi\u00e9ndose el hueso que lo rodea. Por tanto, el quiste tiene un crecimiento progresivo e imparable, siendo cada vez mayor la cavidad que origina.<\/p><p>Los quistes no odontog\u00e9nicos son menos frecuentes. A\u00fan as\u00ed hay que tenerlos presentes en el diagn\u00f3stico y diferenciaci\u00f3n de las lesiones observadas en la radiograf\u00eda diagn\u00f3stica. Por ello es importante el estudio histol\u00f3gico tras su resecci\u00f3n para su filiaci\u00f3n y diagn\u00f3stico definitivo.<\/p><p>El <strong>tratamiento de la patolog\u00eda qu\u00edstica es quir\u00fargico<\/strong> con resecci\u00f3n, dada su evoluci\u00f3n progresiva y de crecimiento continuo. <strong>Dejados evolucionar indefinidamente<\/strong>, algunos pueden derivar en transformaci\u00f3n maligna. Para que esto se produzca deben haber estado activos durante mucho tiempo y suelen haber alcanzado gran tama\u00f1o. Esto justifica que, tras la extirpaci\u00f3n de cualquier quiste, deba realizarse su an\u00e1lisis histopatol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
