Puede verse da\u00f1ado por efecto de <strong>infecciones \u00f3seas y tumores<\/strong>. Pero tambi\u00e9n, los <strong>traumatismos<\/strong> no son causa banal como causa de da\u00f1os en la estructura facial, as\u00ed como las alteraciones cong\u00e9nitas del desarrollo del esqueleto facial. Las <strong>alteraciones cong\u00e9nitas del desarrollo<\/strong> suelen estar vinculadas tambi\u00e9n con una alteraci\u00f3n en la disposici\u00f3n, alineaci\u00f3n y erupci\u00f3n de los dientes.<\/p><p>El <strong>tratamiento<\/strong> ser\u00e1 la mayor\u00eda de las veces <strong>quir\u00fargico<\/strong>. En unas ocasiones, resecci\u00f3n de la lesi\u00f3n, otras mediante reparaci\u00f3n del esqueleto para recuperar la forma y funci\u00f3n del esqueleto. Las lesiones tumorales, tras su resecci\u00f3n, en la medida de lo posible requerir\u00e1n de una reparaci\u00f3n del defecto con injerto de hueso o pr\u00f3tesis. Este procedimiento de injerto, se puede llevar a cabo en el mismo momento de la cirug\u00eda ablativa o diferida. Los traumatismos se tratan mediante alineaci\u00f3n de la fractura y estabilizaci\u00f3n de los fragmentos. En el caso de las deformidades esquel\u00e9ticas, que suelen est\u00e1n asociadas con alteraciones en la oclusi\u00f3n dentaria, la cirug\u00eda se apoya con el <strong>tratamiento orotod\u00f3ncico<\/strong>, prequir\u00fargico y, tambi\u00e9n, posterior a la cirug\u00eda.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
