La patolog\u00eda oral hace referencia a los efectos que esos agentes nocivos f\u00edsicos, qu\u00edmicos o biol\u00f3gicos producen en la mucosa oral.<\/p><p>Y estas enfermedades de la mucosa oral son muy amplias.<strong> Enfermedades inflamatorias<\/strong>, en relaci\u00f3n o no con la dentici\u00f3n o tejido periodontal, en cuyo desarrollo la contaminaci\u00f3n bacteriana es primordial. Pero tambi\u00e9n hay enfermedades inflamatorias originadas por <strong>infecciones<\/strong> v\u00edricas, bacterianas, mic\u00f3ticas (por hongos). Aparte de las enfermedades infecciosas e inflamatorias, hay lesiones s\u00f3lidas de origen reactivo irritativo, las <strong>lesiones s\u00f3lidas reactivas<\/strong> (fibromas, n\u00f3dulos), <strong>ulceradas<\/strong> (aftas, erosiones),<strong> tumores<\/strong>. Todas ellas objeto de estudio por la Cirug\u00eda Maxilofacial.<\/p><p>El <strong>tratamiento<\/strong> depende del origen y cualidad de la patolog\u00eda oral de que se trate. Algunas requieren tratamiento m\u00e9dico. Otras, actitud de vigilancia y evitar el agente nocivo. Y algunas requerir\u00e1n operarse para su extirpaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis histol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
